Fort Worths Mayor Price running again says she has unfinished business

Election results for 2011 has Betsy Price winning the Fort Worth elections.

But that was not enough for Ms. Price. After starting a successful business and running several offices in the area, Betsy has her eyes on the opportunity to lead the community again.

A conservative who looked to help her community, Ms. Price improved its economic, educational, and public safety.

Unfortunately or fortunately, Betsy Price has chosen to end her time as the Mayor. Putting in five terms wasn’t enough as the courts now need to be reformed, and in the position of Tarrant County judge, the county’s top elected post after the incumbent said he wouldn’t seek reelection.

A local who has had great success in the community will work to continue to strengthen and establish stability.

Betsy states, “I think service above self and collaboration are lost in this country. I think we’ve gotten too far on the extremes of both ends. We’ve been fortunate in Fort Worth in that we’ve been able to keep a pretty good even balance and be congenial with each other and come to the table and discuss and settle issues. I think more people at the state and at the federal level need to realize we don’t get anywhere if we’re not going to collaborate. You can’t do it in business, and you sure can’t do it in government.”

Unfortunately, Ms. Price did not win the election of the Republican Party for the Judge Position. But, her endless efforts and work to better the community of Fort Worth will live on.
