Report: 'Fault in our Stars' actor set to play Van Cliburn

Ansel Elgort, current star of the film The Fault In Our Stars, has been signed to play Van Cliburn, according to Deadline Hollywood.
The feature film is being produced by Temple Hill partners Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen along with Crystal City Entertainment in association with The Johnson Group, according to Deadline.


The film will be based on the book Van Cliburn by Howard Reich and focus on the Fort Worth pianist when he was 23 and won the Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition in Moscow.
