TCU's Amon Carter Stadium partnering with Jon Bonnell

 

Fort Worth restaurateur and chef Jon Bonnell will be the exclusive culinary consultant for all catering and foodservice at Texas Christian University’s Amon G. Carter Football Stadium beginning with the fall 2014 season.
Bonnell will partner with collegiate stadium concessionaire Sodexo to create new catering options to be served throughout the stadium’s 32 Club and Suite level venues.
“TCU football fans are loyal to the core and we are just as genuinely committed to providing them a fantastic food experience – an experience that compliments their love of their team and the game,” Bonnell said in a news release.
Club and suite menus will include the choice of breakfast, lunch and dinner packages to accommodate for all game times. Sodexo and Bonnell also are planning other menus within the Founders and Champions Clubs and plan to bring in other local chefs for guest appearances at some select games.
Bonnell is recognized nationally as a premier chef and is the proprietor of the Bonnell’s Restaurant Group. He owns and operates several well-known Fort Worth eateries, including Bonnell’s Fine Texas Cuisine, Waters, Bonnell’s Coastal Cuisine and Buffalo Bros Pizza, Wings & Subs. Bonnell, the author of three culinary cookbooks, also teaches about food and wine at TCU, The Culinary School of Fort Worth and Central Market.
