Goodwill to open new south side retail store on May 9

Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth Inc. will cut the ribbon May 9 for its new retail store and donation center on Fort Worth’s south side.
The new 8,872-square-foot store is located at 3124 Townsend St. at West Berry Street.
The grand opening celebration is open to the public and will begin at 9 a.m. The event will include free hot dogs and popcorn as well as music and gift certificate giveaways.
The opening of the new Fort Worth location will mark the 21st Goodwill location in the greater Fort Worth location.
