American Homes 4 Rent - Malibu, Calif., 44.1 million shares, priced $16 to $18, managed by Goldman Sachs, BofA Merrill Lynch, and J.P. Morgan. Proposed NYSE symbol AMH. Business: REIT that acquires, renovates and leases residential homes in the US.

Ardmore Shipping Corp. - Cork, Ireland, 10 million shares, priced $15 to $17, managed by Morgan Stanley, Jefferies, and Clarkson Capital Markets. Proposed NYSE symbol ASC. Business: Provides seaborne transportation of petroleum products and chemicals worldwide.
