On June 13, the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association hosted special guest speaker Lt. Governor David Dewhurst and honored local officials, municipal employees, policy makers, communities, and legislators at its Annual Municipal Awards Night.
The award recipients were:
• Legislator of the Year – Rep. Rob Orr, Texas House of Representatives
• Spirit of Cooperation – David Schroeder, Development Manager, City of Fort Worth
• Partnership – Mayor Ken Shetter, Burleson
• Spotlight Community – City of Euless
• Spotlight Individual – Stacey Jandrucko, director of real estate, Walsh Holdings LLC
• Lifetime Achievement – Fred Parker, Fred Parker Company Inc.
Dewhurst said he was proud of all that the Texas Legislature has accomplished in the last session.
“We’ve just come off our most successful session in the last couple of decades,” he told the crowd at the Fort Worth Club.
The Greater Fort Worth Builders Association is a professional trade association with over 500 builders, remodelers and associate members representing a wide variety of services and products for the building industry.
