Pour House opens at new location on Halloween

With the construction of its new location wrapped up, Fort Worth’s Pour House – a well known restaurant and bar – officially opened on Halloween night at 6 p.m. for its Fright Night celebration.

Pour House left its original location in downtown Fort Worth last year after 13 years in the Central Business District to open a new storefront at 2725 W. 7th St. in Fort Worth’s Cultural District.

Chef Alphonso is returning to the Pour House kitchen, but not everything at the establishment will be the same.

Besides boasting the largest single-poured concrete bar in Texas (large enough for 9 bartenders), the new Pour House features 25 high definition, flat-screen plasma televisions, two 100-inch big screen televisions, two pool tables, two flat-screen Golden Tees and both NFL and ESPN game packages.

The Pour House will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., serving lunch and dinner daily, brunch on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the entire regular menu well into the night. The lunch and dinner menu is also available for take-out from the new On-The-Go Menu. Parking is located on site next to the building, in the nearby public parking garage or in various lots nearby.

“It’s the same Pour House as before…only better,” said Pour House Owner Eric Tschetter in a release. “We’ve got the same soul, the same great vibe, the same great food, but with an updated modern attitude. We’ve got our chef and many of our old staff back who know what it means to be The Pour House. We’ll have karaoke, live bands and enough tv’s to watch any game you want.”
